Why Sound Healing Helps with Stress, PTSD & Anxiety

By Deena Rahill –

There’s a kind of stress that doesn’t go away with rest. It lives in the body…
in racing thoughts, tight muscles, shallow breathing, and a nervous system that never fully relaxes. Stress, anxiety, and PTSD are not just emotional—they are patterns in the nervous system. And your body cannot heal while it’s stuck in survival mode.

The Nervous System Reset

When you’re under chronic stress, your body stays in fight-or-flight. Over time, this leads to anxiety, poor sleep, tension, and emotional overwhelm.

Sound healing works by shifting the body out of that state. It doesn’t require effort.
It doesn’t ask you to think differently.

It works by using vibration.

Sound waves move through the body, helping to slow brainwaves, deepen breathing, and release tension. This allows the body to move into a state of rest, restore, and recalibration—where real healing begins.

Why It’s Powerful for PTSD & Anxiety

For those dealing with PTSD or high anxiety, traditional approaches can feel overwhelming.

Sound offers a different path.

It creates a safe, non-invasive experience where the body can begin to relax without pressure, without reliving anything, and without force.

The tones meet your body exactly where it is.

The Experience

In my sessions, you’re lying back in a zero-gravity chair, fully supported.

Surrounded by crystal bowls, gongs, and chimes, the sound moves through you—not just something you hear, but something you feel. Your body begins to soften.
Your breath slows. Your mind quiets.

There is nothing to do… only to allow.

Where Healing Begins

I don’t heal you—your body does.

I simply create the conditions for your nervous system to reset so your body can do what it’s designed to do.

And when that happens, everything changes.

Your Invitation

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in stress, this is your invitation to experience a different way.
