Every month's full moon is unique in what it brings into your life. There's a new one every month with a story to tell, a meaning behind its name, and its own special way to affect you. Fortunately, with a little lunar knowledge, and sound therapy you can really make the most of this Full Moon. The spiritual meaning is focused on internal work and self-reflection. It’s a moment to look back in history to our ancestors and the lessons they can teach us. Before industrialism, people focused on harvesting and preparing for the coming of Winter, this is why it's called a Hunter's Moon. Failure to do so meant facing one’s own mortality.

Why Is It Called the Hunter Full Moon?

October's moon is often referred to as the hunter's moon, according to the Old Farmer's Almanac. It was the time of year that hunters were signaled to go out and hunt enough to prepare for the cold season ahead. "Animals are beginning to fatten up ahead of winter, and since the farmers had recently cleaned out their fields under the Harvest Moon [in September], hunters could easily see the deer and other animals that had come out to root through the remaining scraps," the almanac reads. It is said that the hunting story behind the October moon is also why it's sometimes referred to as the blood moon.

During the event, participants lie down or sit in a zero-gravity chair and are washed head to toe in sound vibration — showcasing singing crystal bowls, gongs, chimes & a variety of drums and so much more: it’s an ethereal experience. You will come away with a clear mind and a more profound sense of relaxation with feeling restored.  We strongly recommend this event for people who have trouble meditating or feel like they just “can’t stop their minds” It’s an ethereal experience.
